I really like mule slippers and have been through a few of them in my day. When my last pair of Isotoners gave up the ghost, I figured it was time to look around and see what was out there. Thankfully the web and amazon make it pretty easy to look and compare products and prices, pitting one review against another. Fellas, if you like puttering around the house, in the morning hours with some easy to put on, get up and at-her type slippers, these should definitely be considered. The upper is molded corduroy and is warm and substantive, the sole of this slipper is plastic, but is well cushioned and supportive. Over all, the build quality is excellent. Now all I have to do is get a dog to bring them to me with the morning paper and I'll be in middle class nirvana. My only observation is what I took from other reviews that seems to be accurate. Get them a size up from your standard foot size. Yours truly is a bit over size 12, but normally a 12 will suffice. I preemptively went up to a size 13 due to the experiences related by other owners and once placed on my foot it was as if the slipper was cobbled just for me. Hope this helps

Another great buy from Amazon! These slippers are true to size, comfortable and well made. I've had them a few months now and I can say they are the best pair of slippers I've owned, and at 62, I've owned lots of slippers. The soles are non-slip, they are well padded and warm and can be worn outside as well as inside - great slippers that are affordale, not much else need be said.

I got these slippers for my boyfriend and he says that the slippers are very sturdy and have an extrememly rigid sole, warm and soft inside but not too fluffy, Great for outdoors and indoors.

Ad was deceptive. Several references to sherpa(known for their wool)but no apparent connection to the product. The sherpa lining referred to in the product description turned out to be polyester.I would not have purchased the product if there had been a clear explanation about the polyester lining.
